Lucinn Showcasing the Showerhead Frequently Asked Questions

FAQs

Below is a list of frequently asked questions about our Lucinn Pro. Feel free to call, chat, or contact us if you have any additional questions.

Why should we care?

Q1.1: Is the water in the us really harming my skin and hair?

The water in the US is not as clean as we think. In addition to chlorine, our water supply contains heavy metals (e.g., magnesium, calcium, copper, lead, arsenic) and other contaminants that are a result of human-led processes — such as pesticides that enter the water supply through farmland, chemical waste from factories, city sewage, or rusty old pipes. We created The Lucinn Pro Water Report to help educate people about the chemicals found in their shower water.

Q1.2: What exactly is happening to my skin and hair with contaminated water?

With our skin being our body's largest organ, when we shower, we absorb water like a sponge. So showering in unclean water has major implications for your beauty routine, including premature aging, dry skin, acne, dandruff, psoriasis, damaged hair, just to name a few. Showering in clean water is the essential step in our daily routine for better skin, hair & wellbeing.

Q1.3: I’ve heard about ‘hard water’ and ‘soft water’. What’s the difference?

Hard water is water that contains a high quantity of dissolved minerals (like calcium and magnesium). Where soft water has been treated, so that the only ion remaining is sodium. When rainwater falls, it is naturally soft. However, as water makes its way through the ground and into our waterways, it picks up minerals like chalk, lime, calcium and magnesium and becomes hard water.

Q1.4: What skin types benefit the most from using lucinn pro?

Every skin type can benefit from using Lucinn Pro, but Lucinn Pro may be especially helpful for individuals experiencing premature aging, dry skin, acne, dandruff, psoriasis, or damaged hair.

Hmm.. How does this work?

Q2.1: How do you filter out the chemicals?

Similar to a Brita, our Lucinn Pro Filter uses the pressure of your water to push water through our attachable water filter. The Lucinn Pro Filter contains KDF-55 and Calcium Sulfate designed for removing chlorine and heavy metals.

Q2.2: Will Lucinn Pro affect my shower pressure?

Lucinn Pro was designed and built to maximize the pressure coming from your pipes and will not reduce your existing pressure.

Q2.3: Do I need to change or replace the filter?

Yes! Lucinn Pro uses best-in-class filter technology and is NSF Certified. The filter lasts 3 months at a higher effective rate you can trust.

Q2.4: Is there a subscription for the filter?

Yes! Our showerhead comes with one filter, good for three months of clean water. Sign up for our filter subscription to keep your shower contaminant free.

Q2.5: How did you test that this works?

We've conducted third-party tests to confirm that The Filtered Showerhead removes chlorine at over 99% for the lifespan of the filter.

While our first launch is designed to transform your shower head, we plan on tackling every faucet eventually.
